Elements and Principles of Design in Fine Art
In all art, there are certain elements that are used a basic vocabulary for discussion. Whether it is in pottery, painting, drawing, computer design, fashion, or architecture, we need to be able to discuss art using the language of art. No one wants to be overheard in an art museum saying "I really like the whatcha-ma-call-it in that thingamabob!" Below are some resources to help you learn what that basic vocabulary is and in class we will discuss how that can be applied to your architectural designs.
