The building I made was a dog house. Some of the things I learned from the dog house were how to use the program in general, which will be really useful in any other projects. I had one problems the first of which was the thickness which Mr.Baily helped me fix. I was successful because everything came out accurate I was able to be able to be successful because I followed the directions, the most important part of the directions. I was able to show creativity by building a extra dog house hotel that I designed to be like a geometric optical crystal. I chose to design it as a crystal because I am a rock hunter.

In this building I was working on using more of the tools such as the copy tool unlike the first build. In the school house I learned how to copy blocks and how to copy multiple blocks. The only problem I had was the windows not going on the building which I easily fixed by moving them. I was successful in this build because I learned some new skills and built it correctly, and it will help me to be successful because I know how to use more of the tools. In my design I showed skill and creativity by building a school desk with the shelf in the desk and pencil groove.

In this model the new things I worked on compared to the last models was that I made walls with thicknesses. The only problem I had was punching in the doors and I solved the problem by having Mr.Baily show me how to do it. The skills that I learned were how to make thick walls, put sinks on fire, and punch in doors and windows, which will help me in future because they are necessary skills for building houses. I was successful in my construction because I made the building correctly and with creativity and I can use that in the future because your buildings need to be made correctly. I showed creativity by making arch doors, a flaming sink, octagon windows and a second house.island b.png

In this building I was working on making furniture unlike the other builds. In the chair I learned how to make components and use the push pull tool to line things up. In this build I surprisingly did not have any problems. I was successful in this build because I learned some new skills and built it correctly, and it will help me to be successful because I know how to carve furniture. In my design I showed skill and creativity by building a kitchen island with the follow me tool to make a slopped edge.
NOTE: remember we had problems with the measurements

In this building I was working on making a addition specifically a deck/dock unlike the other builds. In the deck/dock I learned how to more extensively use components and and edit them. In this build I surprisingly did not have any problems except the impossible to follow directions at first. I was successful in this build because I learned some new skills and built it correctly, and it will help me to be successful because I know how to better use components. In my design I showed skill and creativity by building a second deck that was made of glass and made over water with geometric shapes and partly cracked.

In this building I was working on making a clock and using the move tool that we hadn’t used in any of the other projects. In the clock I learned how to more better use the move tool and and rotate tool. In this build I surprisingly did not have any problems in the slightest. I was successful in this build because I learned some new skills and built it correctly, and it will help me to be successful because I know how to better use the rotate tool. In my design I showed skill and creativity by building two more clocks with unique hands and one with a custom minecraft paint job.

P.S. Again I couldn’t get dimensions

In this build I was working on making a stairs and starting the transition to independent self designed architecture using real world architectural rules. The only skill I learned was how to decipher Mr.Bailey videos which is an obvious help. A problem I ran into was deciphering the video which I overcame through trial and error. I was successful because it all came out correct and I followed the diagram correctly which is needed to successfully construct any future builds. I showed creativity by instead of making a stair way to a second floor I made steps up to the door and a fancy door along with spiral stair that I created from a video guide as a guide line but created it myself through trial and error.

The type of house I chose to make was a two story house. A two story house is as it’s name indicates a two story home. There are a equal amount of advantages and disadvantages. The first disadvantages was that it is a two story therefor making it difficult for people with disabilities to navigate through the home. The second disadvantage is maintenance because of it’s height making it difficult to clean the walls and such.

In my decision of which home style to chose I carefully weighed the advantages and disadvantages along with cost to overcome the disadvantages, after carefully deliberating on which one to choose I picked the two story. The way I countered the stairs disadvantage was to make a small ledge thing on the edge each side of the top and bottom steps that allows for a ramp to be slid in so the home could cheaply be converted to a disability friendly home. The height disadvantage can easily be countered by the power house on the commercials that can reach the second story so you can clean the vinyl.

With the features I added to the home it maximizes the advantage categories. Cost wise it is on a smaller lot so it is cheaper and a smaller roof so it is cheaper if you need a new roof. Maintenance wise with the power hose it can easily be clean making the maintenance easy. Heating wise again a benefit because it is a two story and heat rises it is easy to heat. The only category that isn’t a advantage is cooling which is neutral because cold air sinks but because of thick walls and being well insulated the cold air stays inside and the house acts somewhat like a lunch box keeping the inside cool therefor making cooling neutral since it isn’t quite a disadvantage or advantage.

In the house I added a few unique bonus feature many of which are one of a kind ones that I came up with on my own. One of my feature is a gigantic Arizona desert stone gas fireplace of my own design, to help if needed with heating. The fireplace also has a curved glass front that curves in at the top, the most difficult part was getting into the fireplace and erasing all the extra lines to make it look correct. A second feature is a small Minecraft dirt block trophy with a scaled down Susan on it. A feature that a make a difference in the design of the home is a notch in the stairs in the kitchen and that the stairs go a bit higher than the kitchen floor. The reason why I did that to the stairs is so that a special piece of would could be slid into place because of the notch closing the basement off so nobody would accidentally fall down the stairs. A fourth and fifth feature is two custom doorknobs the outside door has a neat geometrical locking system and the bath room doorknob is a rotated and scaled down toilet. A few more features are glass work above the door, detailed wood work on the bathroom door, a doggy door in the front door, a unique railing to the front door, vinyl siding, a metal roof and a painting of Mr.Bailey
